Pears for kid's nutrition.


Pears are a great way to get solid nutrition into your kids, they are low GI, have a low fructose content and many many minerals and vitamins to keep our kids happy and healthy.

Pears contain

  • Vitamin C

  • B6

  • Folate

  • Fibre

  • Antioxidants

  • Vitamin K

Some of my favourite pear recipes are the

GUT LOVING PEAR GUMMIES

2 organic pears chopped into small pieces

3 tablespoons peptipro gelatin powder

stew chopped pears for 10 – 15 minutes

rinse any excess water off (leave a little)

blend with a stick blender and allow to cool for 5 minutes

slowly add gelatin powder and blend again with stick blender

add to silicone moulds

PEAR RHUBARB + APPLE CRUMBLE BREAKFAST

2 organic pears

6 sticks of rhubarb

½ orange - juiced

2 cups berries

1 cup oats

1 cup almond meal

150gms organic salted butter

2 tablespoons maple syrup

chop pears and rhubarb and drizzle over 1 tablespoon maple syrup and orange juice and bake for 30 minutes

add berries fresh or frozen

mix oats, melted butter, almond meal and maple syrup and add to top of the baked fruits and bake for another 20mins until brown on top
