Healthy Banana and Apple Bread:
Commercial banana breads are often loaded with high levels of saturated fat, unrefined sugar and ingredients that are unrecognisable. Instead, kids will love this wholesome and healthy cake alternative that’s easy, delicious and unprocessed.

2 Ripe Bananas
1/2 Cup Almond Meal
1.5 Cup Buckwheat flour
2 Tablespoons Honey (optional)
1/2 Cup Almond Milk
¼ Cup Olive Oil
1.5 Teaspoon Baking Soda
1 Teaspoon Cinnamon
1. Stew apple and mash in banana.
2. Combine all ingredients into a large mixing bowl until smooth.
3. Place in a non-stick loaf or cake tin and bake at 180 degrees for 45 mins.
Banana - High in vitamin B6 which increases immunity and fights infection.
Apple - A perfect snack that is low GI, (so no nasty sugar spikes) and is high in fibre which improves digestive health.
